So sorry to loose a real gentleman.

In memory of John and Rosemary, important parts of my childhood and my family.
Adam Thomson
We will remember John warmly for his robust debate, hospitality with Rosemary (when the samovar was singing) and heady days in Blakeney with sundowners on the balcony.
Judy remembers the 7th. December 1995 when John arranged for her to come to a meeting of his club, where Alan Stripp talked about the book Codebreakers the Inside Story of Bletchley Park.
We hope he and Rosemary are reunited once again.

Dear John - I cannot tell you how much I will miss our long chats about everything and nothing... life will simply not be the same without you. Over the years we have got to know one another really well and you became an integral part in my family life and all our celebrations over the years. I will miss all the tales of your time spent growing up in Six Mile Bottom, your cricket days and of course your life with Rosemary - reunited again. RIP John. Love from Lisa xx

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. RIP John - at peace now and reunited with Rosemary. My thoughts are with Simon and Dominic and the rest of the family at this very sad time. John Thake
