Pam was born in Derby but spent most of her life in Birmingham. She was the first woman employed by Edgbaston County Cricket Club and thoroughly enjoyed her time working there. She married Stanley Cousins in 1954 and they were happily married for nearly 49 years. Pam lived to a remarkable old age and will be fondly remembered by her only daughter, Claire, son-in-law David and granddaughters Anna and Julia. Claire was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a child and has now lived with the disease for over 50 years. Donations in memory of Pam are requested for the charity Diabetes UK to support their on-going research.
Diabetes UK are the UK's leading diabetes charity. They care for, connect with and campaign alongside and on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes.
