Mum loved children. Just weeks before she died, she fell over in the street retrieving a ball from under a car because she was worried a child might try to get it. She was a wonderfully loving grandmother, so a charity linked to babies seemed appropriate.

My last memory of Betty was a drive out to the countryside with my sister Veronica to collect my new puppy one Sunday afternoon about 4 years ago. We had a super day out with a nice lunch on the way back - she would have taken Mungo home only she said Bella might object! Sincere condolences to her family. She was a lovely lady and will be so missed.
