It was an absolute pleasure to know Jeffrey, a true gentleman, very kind & he gave so much to our community! I will always remember him quoting shakespeare on our quiz team, watching him play his harp in the Saffron Walden Orchestra & listening to him play the organ in church. Rest in Peace Jeffrey, you will be greatly missed, Kim

A true friend over the last 70+ years, he gave my family so many happy memories

Mrs Jane Chater

We've only known Jeffrey for a few years but he was so welcoming when we moved in across the road, coming over with a village welcome pack that he'd put together. He was always keen for a chat and one day when I spotted him struggling past with a large object, which turned out to be a harp, he popped in and played us a tune. It was beautiful. Such a lovely man, we will miss him.
