Remembering Derek from our time at Bowls. Thinking of Joan and the family at this sad time.
Mrs Iris Jones
Lisette and I will remember Derek with great affection, not least for the enormous contribution he made to making Saxon Way a happy and caring community. Very many Pleasant memories of happy occasions.
Mr & Mrs Lisette and Trevor Osbourn
Remembering Derek while we girls grew up together in Billericay, he took me to the Cenotaph for the Remembrance Day Service for the first time and I also remember a ‘ Treasure Hunt’ around South Essex . A constant in our lives.
Much love to all his family x
Mrs Elaine Hall
Wonderful memories of Derek when we were growing up. He took me to my first West Ham game at Upton Park. Arranged for us to attend a ‘do’ at Mansion House and was the best Quiz Master at Christmas gatherings. Firm but fair, softly strict and a man of great dignity and moral values.
Deepest condolences to Joan, Carolyn, Tony, Judith and families xx
Mrs Julie Vitali
