Dr Tony Cox

COX IMP.png

Tony Cox was an outstanding physical chemist whose research contributions led to an understanding of a number
of major global environmental problems, including acid rain production and ozone depletion.
He helped to establish the UK's atmospheric chemistry community and collaborated in European research programmes.

Tony had a huge range of interests and an enquiring mind.
Alongside science he loved nature, history, art, culture and travel.
He cared a great deal about the natural world which is reflected in his work and his interests,
and hence the charities that have been chosen for donations.
