Mrs Dorothy Ellen Blee

'Dorothy is sitting among her favourite cowslips' 

Dorothy, beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunty and friend, sadly passed away peacefully at home on the 16^th February 2026 aged 85 years.

She will be greatly missed and dearly remembered by amongst others her husband Robin of 62 years married life, her twin children Jonathan (Clare and boys) and Sarah.

She was born to Charles and Rosa Lander on the 4^th April 1940. She had an older brother Peter who sadly is not with us and a younger brother Robert. At an early age she learnt the piano and this became a lifelong interest. Throughout her life she used her musical talent playing when at college, at school assemblies, at church and at home for pleasure. She treasured the piano given to her by her parents at age 21.

Her Christian faith was central to her life and was part of who she was. This brought Dorothy reassurance and continues to bring her family confidence of a sure and certain hope.
