Glad to have been able to ‘share’ Father’s Day’s with Brian over the last two years. Richard’s BBQs will not be the same without his happy spirit in the spite of all the medical issues he was dealing with, for so many years.

I will always remember the friendly, encouraging Brian when I first started playing hockey. Brian was one of the reasons I continued to play.

To my dearest Dad and our wonderful Grandad, we were the luckiest of families to have you in our lives. Thank you for your strength, your fun, your passion, your sense of adventure and everything you ever did for us. You really were the best. We will miss you and remember you always. May you rest in peace after a life well lived. In our hearts forever, and with all our love. Samantha, Richard, Grace and William xxx
Mrs Samantha Kay
Brian, your smiley face was like sunshine, even as a Hockey player, always there. Never one to hide behind the clouds, never a dark moment you were a bright light. Rain, hail, snow, sleet you were there. Playing, coaching, motivating. Every club should have a Brian Mayoss, reliable, committed, dependent and a gentleman. Royston Hockey club was very lucky to have its own Brian. Speedy, "Supersonic" & "Whippet" to name but two of your Hockey pseudonyms. "Mouse" to anyone who knew you from school and work. Love you, miss you, keep on drumming.
