It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Bartosz Platak of the 1st November 2025

In honour of Bart’s vibrant spirit, we would like the day to be a celebration of his life,
so we kindly ask attendees to wear bright or cheerful clothing rather than traditional black.

Instead of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation in Bart’s memory is invited to contribute to Samaritans.

Donations made in his honour will help support the incredible work they do.

This is in memory of a very special person who I was privileged to meet and know for a short period of time. He had a beautiful sparkle in his eye. The words of Vincent by Don McLean come to mind when I think of him. Rest in peace Bart. Xx

Bart'service will be held in the West Chapel. There is parking available at the crematorium and taxi’s available from the train stations in Cambridge

Wake

Following the service, there will be a wake at The Red Lion in Histon, approximately a 10-minute drive from the crematorium. There is parking at the venue, as well as space to park on the street and a car park opposite.
