I felt privileged to know Jean as she was such an intelligent, talented and warm person- such good fun and a loyal friend to us all. Bronagh, Sinead and all of your family we know you will miss her so much so I hope you will be able to draw on all of the wonderful memories of her life with you all to keep you going. I miss her already but am thankful I got to know her well and heard about her life in Ireland and all of her family who meant so much to her. Bless you Jean and I hope we all be meeting up again.

Dearest Jean Thank you for all the lovely times we had. I so enjoyed our times together and it was such a shame that illness prevented us both from seeing each other much over the last few years. You’re at peace now free from any pain. All my love Barbara xxx
