Celebrating Gemma’s Life and Supporting Her Chosen Charity

Gemma was born in Cambridge on July 10th, 1988, and remained closely connected to the city throughout her life. A well-known and much-loved figure within the local hairdressing community, she left a lasting impression not only through her talent and creativity but also through her warmth and kindness. Gemma built strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike, and her vibrant personality earned her the affection and respect of many friends, who now remember her with deep love and sorrow.

Above all, Gemma was a devoted mother to her daughter, Bella, and a beloved partner to Luke. She was also a cherished daughter, sister, and family member. Her presence in the lives of those who knew her was significant, and her absence is deeply felt.

In her final moments, Gemma received care from the dedicated team at St Nicholas Hospice. The exceptional compassion and dignity with which they supported her left a profound impact. It was clear to Gemma and those closest to her that the hospice team provided not just medical care, but a deep sense of peace, respect, and humanity during an incredibly difficult time.

In honour of that care, and as a way to give back, Gemma chose St Nicholas Hospice as her preferred charity. Her wish was that others might continue to receive the same level of end-of-life support—delivered with warmth, skill, and heartfelt compassion.

Donations made in Gemma’s name will help ensure that more individuals and families can benefit from the remarkable work of the hospice, just as she did. Her legacy lives on, not only in the memories of those who loved her but also through the continued support of a cause close to her heart.
