Dear John, I really appreciate that you remembered me on Mum's passing when I'd regrettably been out of touch the past five years. 'Auntie Jessie' as the most dear, wonderful and beautiful lady she was, I naturally wanted to honour her. My Mum Beryl's beloved friend (as with Uncle Ernie) since their early working life in Aylesbury. You may recall, Jessie and Ernie embraced the remaining Brown family when my Dad John died of a Coronary aged 49 in 1966, 10 days before Christmas and brought us over from Dovercourt to spend it with you. I like to think the Sun shone for Jessie as she left us today, or that she made it so as a fond farewell, 'till we meet again'. The service was so moving, with the Grange carers and such relatable readings by Alan, Jane and Louise. Then so poignantly from you, Chloe and Thomas a real, tangible story of Jessie. I saw today John that you are rightly so proud of your Mum, Chloe, Thomas, Louise and friends. With Love, Mandy xxxx
