Anthea and family. What a lovely send off for my elder cousin Sean (by exactly 2 months) whom I grew up with as kids in Cardiff in the 40’s and 50’s. Have some lovely memories of our two families in seaside places such as Llantwitt Major and Font-y-Gary. Our paths diverted on reaching adulthood but somehow crossed on odd occasions such as one charity golf day at the Forest of Arden in the 90’ or at the Millennium Stadium (supporting Wales of course) and always greeted by his warm and generous nature. I now know what a wonderful and fulfilling life he has had as a family man (and as the ‘Major) in Saffron Walden’ which I am sure were also full of love and joy too. A life truly well lived. Alan

Sean was a very kind and friendly Gentleman. We first met him when we joined Thaxted Bowls Club and he made us most welcome. Also I remember a lot of friendly sporting banter particularly when it came to Rugby .
