Mrs Beryl Phillips

Beryl was born in Croydon in 1934 and lived there until she was 8 years old, when the family were moved to Bristol to avoid the bombing during the war, she lived there with her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She left school at the age of 15 and got a job in a ladies dress shop as a seamstress, she also worked in a shoe shop and was the breakfast Chef at the Rose & Crown. 

She married her Husband Harry in 1950, a day after her 16th birthday. They have 7 children, 32 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. During there marriage they enjoyed caravan holidays in Bognor, music and dancing.
