Jill was a very kind and generous person who will be missed by all her family and many friends.
Mr Nigel Denham
Jill was a good friend for 45 years, always there, helpful and supportive.
Always involved in some activity or other and the love of a good time.
She enjoyed life to the full and shared what she had with others, in abundance.
Mr Richard Boazman

Jill and I were good friends at school through our teenage years. I remember her passion for music which never left her. She joined the choir at school and always sang through her life.
She used to enjoy a swim in the very chilly sea when there was no local swimming pool. She also had a passion for sailing.
I remember her writing pages of 'changes' when she took up bellringing. She didn't do anything half-heartedly. As a teenager she occasionally got into scrapes so there was never a dull moment.
She was a generous godmother too.
I will miss her.
Condolences to Chris.

It was a privilege to know Jill, and a delight to sing with her. With her cheerful friendliness and ability to cope calmly with adversity, Jill was a good friend who I was lucky to know and whom I will miss - and remember with a smile.
