Alan I will miss our daily telephone banter regarding the Council and Manchester United v Spurs "My thoughts are with your Darling Daughter"

Mr Garry LeCount

We started as colleagues and ended as friends. Your dad was generous of spirit and of his time in his council work and especially in Planning. I learnt a great deal from your father, always making his explanations or his ideas understandable for all. I will miss his humour, his smile and his friendship. Your dad always lit up when he talked about you Charlotte (his darling daughter), you were greatly loved and that love is with you always.

Mrs Sandi Merifield

Alan, you were a great conversationalist with an infectious smile. You will be fondly remembered. My thoughts are with your family and friends.
