Madeleine passed away on 6th March 2020 aged 59 years, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was an immensely kind, loving and thoughtful person, who will be so greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her partner Nigel, mum Vi and sister Cath.
Donations in Madeleine's memory may be made to either Maggie's Cambridge, or St Clare Hospice, in recognition of the excellent help and support she and her family received whilst in their care.
After much consideration, it has been decided to postpone Madeleine's Celebration of Life until later in the year.
Thank you for your understanding.

Madeleine, where did those 40 years of friendship go? They flew by so quickly - so many memories of times spent with you to treasure; so many outfits, so many hairstyles, so many laughs & a few tears along the way. From Terries mum's house to Brahms, to the King William, to my days living in Saffron Walden, to nights out eating, drinking & being merry, to the delights of muddy & wonderful Vietnam, to glorious France last summer - you will be so missed my friend, your smile and laughter that brightened a room. Sleep peacefully Mad & be sure we will all still think of you and smile x x

Sadly missed at the tennis club where Madeleine's contribution over several years was considerable.

Madeleine was one of the kindest, most caring people I knew, and always went out of her way to help friends and colleagues. I have many cherished memories of “M” in the office and will always remember her smile, laughter and willingness to help others, as well as trying to mother me and keep me in order. Rest in peace Madeleine, I will never forget you. Andrew
